Alexander R. Richter, 28, has been arrested after being accused of molesting six young children while in his care.  Richter is a Gateway Technical College student from Racine, Wis.  He has been charged with 49 felony counts of child sexual abuse.  Richter videotaped those sexual assaults.

He was arrested last week and is still in police custody.  Bond has been set by a Wisconsin court at $1.5 million.

Police reported that they are concerned there may be more child victims out there.

According to the Associated Press, authorities have stated that Richter volunteered his service as a babysitter and then “repeatedly had sex with the boys and girls on camera as they cried and begged him to stop.”

Police have identified six of the children from Richter’s videos.  Charges against Richter include first-degree sexual assault of a child under 13, sexual exploitation of a child, and possession of child pornography.

Police report that Richter is accused of making at least 11 videos of himself having sex with both children, including one in which he guided a boy into attempted sex with his sister.

The children in the videos informed police that Richter performed anal and oral sex with them on several occasions, used sex toys on them, and videotaped them taking baths.

DVDs were recovered from Richter’s home and show him engaging in sexual activities with at least two of the children.  Photos were also confiscated and showed kids posing naked and performing sexual acts on one another.

The youngest of the children is a baby girl who was just four months old at the time of the abuse.

The case is currently being investigated by Wisconsin authorities.
